1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everything you submit to or generate with HotPrompt, including text ideas you type into the optimiser, images you upload to the image-to-prompt tool, video frames you upload to the video-to-prompt tool, and any output the AI returns to you. It also covers how you use HotPrompt — your behaviour as an account holder.
This AUP is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in any combination of: blocking the specific request, removing content, suspending your account, terminating your account without refund, and reporting to law enforcement if required by law.
2. Prohibited content and use cases
You may not use HotPrompt — and may not direct any AI model through HotPrompt — to create, request, share or attempt to share:
2.1 Child safety
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexualised content depicting minors, even if stylised, cartoonish or AI-generated.
- Content that grooms, exploits or endangers minors in any way.
- We have zero tolerance for any apparent attempt to circumvent this rule and we report suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities (e.g. NCMEC) as required by law.
2.2 Non-consensual or harmful imagery of real people
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (“deepfake porn”) or any sexualised content of a real, identifiable person without their documented consent.
- Deepfakes designed to deceive about a real person's actions or statements — political, financial, romantic or otherwise.
- Targeted harassment, intimidation, doxxing or threats against an individual or group.
2.3 Illegal activities
- Content that facilitates real-world violence, terrorism, hate crimes or genocide — including praise of designated terrorist organisations.
- Instructions, code, designs or schematics for weapons (including firearms, explosives, chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons) intended to cause real-world harm.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, fake reviews, or fake academic credentials.
- Sale or trafficking of regulated goods (drugs, firearms, human organs, endangered wildlife, stolen accounts) where doing so is illegal in the jurisdictions involved.
2.4 Security and platform abuse
- Malware, ransomware, spyware, key-loggers, exploits, or any code designed to harm a third party's system.
- Phishing kits, credential-harvesting templates or social-engineering scripts targeting a real entity.
- Attacks on HotPrompt itself: scraping, automated abuse, credential stuffing, intentional rate-limit evasion, multi-account farming, attempts to bypass paywalls or moderation, and attempts to access another user's account or data.
2.5 Intellectual property and impersonation
- Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent or other rights of a third party.
- Output presented as if it were written by a real, named individual or organisation without authorisation.
- Use of HotPrompt to bulk-clone the look, voice or trade dress of another product for commercial confusion.
2.6 Privacy violations
- Generation, aggregation or doxxing of a real person's private information (home address, phone number, government ID, financial information, biometric data, sexual orientation, health condition, immigration status, etc.) without lawful basis.
2.7 High-risk uses
- Anything that creates a foreseeable risk of bodily harm, financial ruin, or violation of fundamental rights — including unsupervised medical advice, legal advice, financial advice and crisis support delivered to end users as if it came from a qualified human.
- Decisions in employment, lending, housing, insurance, education, law enforcement or any other area regulated for automated decision-making, without appropriate human oversight and compliance with applicable law.
3. How we enforce this — Creem Moderation API
Because HotPrompt is an AI image, video and text generation product, Creem's 2026 merchant policy requires us to integrate Creem's Moderation API on inputs and outputs. We comply. Specifically:
- Text prompts, uploaded images and uploaded video frames are scanned before they reach the underlying AI model.
- AI-generated output is scanned before it is returned to you, where the output is image, video or otherwise scannable media.
- The upstream AI providers we call (via kie.ai) run their own moderation independently. If either layer flags a request as prohibited, the request is rejected.
- When a moderation flag is raised, we log the event (without retaining the offending content longer than necessary) so we can detect repeat offenders and respond to legally compelled disclosures.
Moderation is automated and imperfect. A blocked request that you believe was wrongly flagged can be appealed by emailing [email protected]. We review appeals within three (3) business days.
4. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content generated by HotPrompt that violates this AUP — for example, a public link, social post or screenshot — please report it to [email protected]. Include:
- a description of the content;
- where you encountered it (URL, screenshot, etc.);
- your relationship to the matter (e.g. you are the person depicted, the rights holder, or an unrelated reporter); and
- any other context that would help us evaluate quickly.
We respond within three (3) business days. Reports involving child safety or imminent harm are escalated immediately.
5. Consequences of a violation
- Single, low-severity violation — we block the request, may delete the content, and warn the account.
- Repeated or serious violation — we suspend or terminate the account. Any paid subscription is not refunded and the user may be permanently barred from creating future accounts.
- Illegal content — we cooperate with law enforcement as required, which may include preserving and producing records, account details and IP logs in response to a valid legal process.
6. Changes to this AUP
We update this AUP as new abuse patterns emerge and as our moderation capabilities evolve. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes are announced at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect.
