1. Who charges you
Payments for HotPrompt are processed by Creem.io (“Creem”), our third-party payment processor and our Merchant of Record. The charge on your statement will appear under a Creem-related descriptor. All refunds — whether granted by us or by Creem — are issued back to the same payment method you used.
2. When you are eligible for a refund
2.1 First-purchase money-back window
We offer a full refund of your first paid subscription purchase if all of the following are true:
- you request the refund within fourteen (14) days of the charge;
- you have consumed less than twenty percent (20%) of the credits in that billing period; and
- the account has not been suspended for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
This guarantee covers the very first time you subscribe to a given plan. Subsequent renewals are not covered by the money-back window (see Section 3).
2.2 Billing errors
If you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after a confirmed cancellation, or a charge while the Service was provably unavailable to you for more than seventy-two (72) hours — we refund the affected amount in full regardless of the 14-day window.
2.3 Statutory rights (EU / UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a fourteen (14) day statutory cancellation right when you purchase a digital service online. By starting to use the paid Service during this period (e.g. consuming paid credits), you expressly agree that we may begin performance immediately and you acknowledge that you waive the right to withdraw to the extent the Service has been performed. The 14-day first-purchase money-back window in Section 2.1 is at least as generous as, and is offered in addition to, your statutory rights.
3. When refunds are not granted
The following are not refundable:
- subscriptions cancelled mid-period (you keep access until the period ends — no pro-rating);
- renewal charges after the first paid period (cancel any time before renewal to avoid them);
- accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy;
- free-tier usage, which has no monetary value;
- credits that were spent on optimisations that returned a low-quality result — we recommend trying the free tier first to confirm quality before subscribing; and
- purchases on which a payment dispute (chargeback) has been filed and is still open.
4. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your HotPrompt account.
- Include your order or transaction ID (you'll find it on the Creem receipt) and a one-line reason for the refund.
- We respond within three (3) business days. Approved refunds are issued through Creem to your original payment method within five (5) business days; banks typically post them within ten (10) business days.
Creem may also issue a refund directly if you reach out to them via the customer portal link in your most recent receipt.
5. Chargebacks and disputes
If you have any concern about a charge, please email us first. We almost always resolve the situation faster than your bank can. Filing a chargeback without a good-faith attempt to contact us first may result in your account being suspended pending the investigation, and the chargebacked subscription will not be reinstated even if you later withdraw the dispute.

6. How to cancel (so you aren't charged again)
You can cancel at any time:
- from the Account page in HotPrompt (“Manage subscription”);
- via the Creem Customer Portal link in your most recent receipt; or
- by emailing [email protected].
Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep paid access until the end of the current period.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy. The version that applies to a purchase is the one in effect on the day of the charge.
